The Colors of Love

In a palette of hues, love found its way,

a rainbow of emotions as if on display.

Red, as red as passion

burning bright and true.

In the calmest waters are all the blues

to be seen

so serene and new.

Yellow like sunshine, warm and bright,

the greenest of greens,

like the leaves of the trees, everlasting in light.

Orange like fire, fierce and bold.

The most purply purples like the robes of royalty, 

a love story is told.

Found in every shade and every tone,

Love blooms in all colors, mesmerizingly shown.

i sang to your heart, 

or You sang to mine.

To be honest i’m not 

even sure this time for 

it’s not the first or last.

You heard me calling from 

cross the universe.

Like the birds sing to the sunrise. 

Sun up yet?

The sun sure is taking its 

time to come up this 

morning. 

Today came without warning 

and my alarm clock wouldn’t let me keep snoring. 

So i’m up.

Just like the west, i wait 

for the sun to crest but
